Galehead’s capabilities just grew in a big way: Welcome, Kirsten!

And then there were four….

Since our inception, Galehead has been comprised of a complementary team focused on contributing to innovative cleantech projects and delivering value for our partners. We pride ourselves on being commercially oriented and on taking action. Bold, Driven, True – these are the personal traits we value immensely at Galehead.

As we expand our team we are seeking individuals that embody these traits and are willing to do what it takes to get things done. To that end, I am very excited to welcome Kirsten Lawrence as the newest addition to the Galehead team. Kirsten will serve as Galehead’s Manager of Product Development & GIS. Kirsten brings extensive experience in geospatial and GIS analysis (ArcGIS, Geoserver, QGIS), general programming (Python, HTML, JavaScript, PostgreSQL), and other open-source technologies. Kirsten is a rockstar and embodies the dimensions that are critical to our success:

• Bold: Kirsten welcomes new ideas and she’s a pro at continuous improvement – testing and building new capabilities alongside delivering immediate results.
• Driven: We’ve gotten to know Kirsten on a part-time basis and she’s demonstrated, repeatedly, her tenacity and commitment to finding solutions in order to deliver results.
• True: We are building a culture of transparency and mutual respect – Kirsten has been and will continue to be a critical part of establishing an outstanding team and working environment at Galehead.

And… when we learned that she had East Coast roots and she knew the mountain behind our brand, we immediately knew there was a fit. We couldn’t be more pleased and honored to have Kirsten as an official member of the Galehead Team.
